Corporate Response to H1N1 Flu

As we have done in other times of national emergency or trauma, Families and Work Institute is now posting and sharing “best practice,” “preparedness” and “response” information from our corporate network in regards to the H1N1 flu. Collecting and sharing brief stories of what organizations like yours are doing benefits employees and employers alike across companies of all sizes.

Many of you have been reading about the responses universities have had to confirmed cases of H1N1 flu on US campuses and are making your own plans.

Please send an email to corporateresponse@familiesandwork.org and tell us in a sentence or two what your company is doing to:

  • make the facts about H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines available,
  • reinforce your medical group as they plan your workplace response,
  • support employees, their family members and communities, and
  • make plans for coverage in the workplace.

In the past, these stories have been an important resource for hundreds of others who are figuring out their own strategies. As we receive your stories, we will continue to make them available to the public, the media and the work life community.

Thank you very much for all you are doing.
