Media Inquiries

Families and Work Institute is dedicated to providing the media with up-to-date, and often, one-of-a-kind data on issues that affect work life, families and communities as a whole.

Families and Work Institute can provide you with research findings covering a broad range of topics in our main areas of work:

  • The changing workforce
  • The changing workplace
  • Youth
  • Early childhood development (including Mind in the Making)
  • Community

Our data sets are robust allowing us to run exclusive analyses for the media contacts we work with. In addition, we can also provide expert feedback on all of our data, helping reporters illustrate their stories with both hard evidence and expert explanation.

To request data from Families and Work Institute or to schedule an interview with one of our experts, please e-mail Kelly Sakai at ksakai@familiesandwork.org. Please include your name, media outlet, phone number, deadline and request in the e-mail message.

Media inquires will be prioritized by deadline, and in general, will be fielded as they are received. If you are on a tight deadline, we recommend that you call directly at (212) 981-2559 rather than e-mail.
