"An Immersion into the Future"
Monday, June 9, 2008
1:30 to 5:30 pm
Cipriani 42nd Street, New York City

Drawing from the Institute for the Future’s latest Ten-Year Forecast and his new book, Bob Johansen guided participants into future worlds. This four-hour session provided many interactive experiences. This was a rare opportunity to have a unique “immersion learning experience” with one of the country’s foremost “future” thinkers.

Participants were encouraged to bring Gen Y employees who will add their personal and generational perspectives to the discussion.

Gift copies of Bob Johansen’s book, Get There Early: Sensing the Future to Compete in the Present; Deloitte’s Stan Smith’s book, Decoding Generational Differences: How Can We Get Back to Work; Maggie Jackson's book, Distracted: The Erosion of Attention and the Coming Dark Age; and Families and Work Institute’s 2008 National Study of Employers were distributed to all Immersion Learning Experience participants.
