The action taken to national disaster is awesome but it's a damn shame that so many people take advantage of the negative situations.

I mean everytime there is an earthquake, a flood, an oil spill - there's always a group of heartless people who rip off tax payers.

This is in response to reading that 4 of Oprah Winfreys "angels" got busted ripping off the system. Shame on them!

Video blogging is kind of cool but i think it is more time consuming than regular text based blogs. i already have at least 1 video blog and 2 regular blogs.

Oops. yes. After posting this recipe I actually tried another one with flour though that I liked better. It turned out amazingly well. I added almond extract for yummy smell.

Colored Playdough (http://fun.familyeducation.com/sculpting/recipes/37040.html)

Materials

    * 1 cup water
    * 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    * 1/2 cup salt
    * 1 tablespoon cream of tartar
    * Food coloring
    * Saucepan
    * 1 cup flour

Directions

   1. Combine water, oil, salt, cream of tartar, and food coloring in a saucepan and heat until warm.
   2. Remove from heat and add flour.
   3. Stir, then knead until smooth. The cream of tartar makes this dough last 6 months or longer, so resist the temptation to omit this ingredient if you don't have it on hand.
   4. Store this dough in an airtight container or a Ziploc freezer bag.

Miami is a staging site for much of Haiti relief as the closest US port, and as the home of the University of Miami, Project MediShare and Dr. Barth Green, who are offering extraordinary leadership and service. The Human Services Coalition is supporting efforts to coordinate local resources through posting on an internet database facilitated by www.crisiscommons.org.
