Ellen on CBS Evening News tonight (10/16)
I have been interviewed for a piece that will air tonight on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric (Friday, October 16th from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, pending breaking news.) The piece discusses the impact of the recession on women’s and men’s roles at work and at home—especially when men lose their jobs and women return to the workforce. Findings from Families and Work Institute’s recently-released study, “Times Are Changing: Gender and Generation at Work and at Home” will be featured.
This Sunday Maggie Jackson’s popular “Balancing Act” column in the Boston Globe is devoted to another Families and Work Institute recently-released study; “The State of Health in the American Workforce: Does Having an Effective Workplace Matter?” Maggie discusses how the report underscores the holistic nature of employee health.
