ITAC - Founded in 1993 as a nonprofit association, ITAC is the leading information resource for enabling work from any location, i.e. telework. ITAC conducts Telework America and other leading research along with virtual seminars. ITAC's web site (www.workingfromanywhere.org) includes links to sites that provide career assistance in telework and to its members, which are leading U.S. employers of teleworkers.

Work Life Leadership Council Mission Since its foundation in 1983, the Work/Life Leadership Council has identified emerging issues in the work-family field and has helped to shape and communicate appropriate business responses. The council, which meets twice a year, defines its mission as: "Providing leadership and support to influence the business community to meet the changing family needs of its diverse work force and, thereby, enhance business success." Recent meetings have focused on the issues of redefining the family, domestic partner benefits, overwork, and the new employer-employee contract. Other meetings have dealt with measuring work-family programs; management goals and behaviors; and internationalization of work-family concerns.

Workplace & Family Program, New America Foundation - www.21stcenturyfamily.org The Work & Family Program of the New America Foundation, with the generous support of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, conducts research on the policy obstacles to workplace flexibility. It holds high-profile events and conferences, publishes articles in the mainstream press, distributes issue briefs, and engages opinion leaders, policy makers and constituency groups. The overall goal of the program is to create a sense of urgency around the need for policy reform to reduce the stresses on today's families that result from a lack of flexibility.

Workplace Flexibility 2010 at Georgetown Law University is a campaign to support the development of a comprehensive national policy on workplace flexibility. By the year 2010, we hope to have helped develop consensus-based policy solutions that work for business and families.
